Izumi is a Japanese Matcha that is ideal for first time Matcha drinkers. It has a fresh and aromatic taste and can also be used for cooking and mixed drinks with milk or soy milk. Izumi features a stronger and slightly more astringent taste than higher grade Matcha. The name Izumi means spring (source).
